Narnia - The Silver Chair...
Watching this clip makes me want to put the DVD on so I can watch all the episodes like a feature film. I don't care much for the latest adaptation of the C.S.Lewis books. They haven't filmed 'The Silver Chair' yet but I'm sure they will. This one was my favourite. I was mesmerised by the bit where they try to contact Aslan by drawing a circle on the ground and saying his name. I think that's how a few years later I ended up thinking there was a portal to another dimension at the bottom of the playground. Some might think that sounds a little too crazy and prefer to be more realistic about things, and life in general. I prefer to have a great imagination and let people explore other thoughts than just the mundane ones, they are boring!
It says a lot that CITV showed 80s and 90s kids tv shows over an entire weekend the other week. I was impressed they has a few 'Knightmare' episodes on, there doesn't seem to be many shows quite like that these days. Ok, I'm a little biased being an 80's child...but still, I feel sorry for the 'naughties' kids growing up watching 'Teletubbies' it's no wonder a lot of them seem a bit messed up. Sorry! Right off I go to watch the rest of 'Green Wing', another brilliant tv show but they only filmed 2 seasons aww I love comedy!
